About Madi Boll

Ever since I was a kid, I've been absolutely captivated by filmmaking and its ability to immerse people in a perspective completely different from their own.

At 11 years old,  I harnessed the incredible power of storytelling to tackle the complexities of my brother's autism and share it with my community. I realized the film connected with people on a level that hours of talking just couldn't match.

Since then, I've wholeheartedly dedicated myself to crafting narrative films and music videos that dive deep into topics that are truly close to my heart. My directorial work explores the intricate nuances of subjects like queer love, mental health, and providing unwavering support to individuals on the autism spectrum.

Having grown up mostly in China and Thailand, my unique background influences how I approach directing; I've cultivated a deep sense of empathy that reminds us all that there's never just one way to solve a problem. With my diverse experiences, I aim to bridge gaps and foster understanding among audiences from all walks of life.

Through filmmaking, I'm on a mission to spark meaningful conversations, challenge preconceptions, and offer fresh perspectives on important issues.
